Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Moderate water staining to rear board, with ring shaped mark.

Etat : Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A good condition book. Shelf wear and rubbing particularly to the spine edges. Curling to board corners. A contemporary gift annotation on the halftitle page. Some signs of foxing at each end of the textblock but this clears considerably towards the centre, and on the whole the contents are pleasantly clear and bright when considering the age of the book.

Written by Sir Walter Scott, one of the Waverly novels.Published by Grosset and Dunlap. Hardcover (light brown, illustrated at top) Very Good condition for its age. Faint stains on the front and back covers. Slight soiling on the outer edge of the page block. Wear on the corners of the cover. 2 or 3 pages have small spots (1/8"). A penciled early price appears on the flyleaf. "From the last revised edition, containing the author's notes, final corrections, etc." with 1830 Introduction and Laurence Templeton's Dedicatory Epistle to The Rev. Dr. Dryasdust (1817). 458 pages. The binding is strong. The pages are flexible and clean. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost.
